This isn’t a job with a fixed schedule or a promise of steady income. You decide whether to accept a specific item, which terms suit you and how many requests you can handle on a trip.
How to carry parcels for a reward with JetJoin
Publish your flight
Enter the route, departure date and time, flight number and free weight in checked or hand luggage. Publish only a trip you are actually going to make.
Receive offers from senders
People who need to send things along your route can submit a request. It covers the contents, the weight of the parcel, the reward offered and the meeting terms.
Choose suitable requests
JetJoin doesn’t assign items automatically. You can accept an offer, negotiate the price or decline. When your free space runs out, you can stop accepting new requests.
Agree on handover and pickup
Before confirming, clarify who hands over the item before departure, who meets you after arrival and what is needed to confirm delivery. Don’t take a parcel if its contents are unknown or raise doubts.
How the delivery reward is calculated
The payment isn’t set automatically from your total free weight. The sender offers an amount for a specific parcel, and the traveler decides whether it suits them. The agreement depends on the route, the size and weight of the item, how convenient the handover is and other circumstances.
Example: you agree to deliver one parcel for 30,000 ₸. JetJoin’s traveler fee is 10% of the agreed amount — 3,000 ₸. After the fee, your reward is 27,000 ₸, not counting any taxes or other costs.
If you accept several items on one flight, the fee is calculated separately from the price of each agreed delivery. A desired price announced for all your free luggage is not the basis for the fee on an individual request.
Who carrying parcels for payment suits
This may appeal to people who fly often for work, visit family or travel between countries. What matters is that the trip is already planned and carrying extra items doesn’t interfere with your own plans or break carriage rules.
Don’t buy a ticket just for an expected reward: requests may not come in, and carriage isn’t guaranteed to be agreed.
Which parcels are allowed to be carried
Whether carriage is allowed depends on the airline’s rules, the laws of the departure and destination countries and the contents of the item. Special requirements may apply to batteries, electronics, medicines, food and goods intended for sale.
Clarify the contents before accepting a request, check the restrictions and, if needed, customs declaration. Don’t accept unknown, hidden or prohibited items. Even if the parcel belongs to someone else, the passenger may be held responsible for what is in their luggage.
How to choose a profitable and convenient request
Look beyond the amount. Consider the size and weight, the meeting place, the time before departure, pickup terms, extra trips and potential costs. If the terms don’t suit you, it is better to decline before confirming.
When discussing several requests, consider your total available weight, not just the weight of each parcel. Don’t promise an exact delivery time if it depends on flight delays, passport or customs control.
Payment and protecting the agreement
JetJoin handles the deal within the platform: the sender’s card is charged after you enter the delivery confirmation code, and your reward is paid out to you automatically. Identity verification and the payment mechanism help structure the interaction but don’t remove all risks.
Delivery payment protection doesn’t mean the value of the items is automatically insured. Before the handover, agree on the contents, the condition of the item, the recipient’s contacts and what to do in a dispute.
Start with a flight you’ve already planned
If you are flying on your own business and are willing to consider carrying a permitted parcel, post your flight on JetJoin. Senders will be able to offer their terms, and the final decision will stay with you.
