How to hand a parcel to an air passenger with JetJoin

Sometimes you need to get a small parcel to another city or country, and there is no suitable delivery option yet. One way is to agree with someone who is already flying the route you need. JetJoin helps the sender find a traveler, see their published flight and propose handover terms. The passenger decides whether to accept the parcel, and whether it can be carried depends on airline rules and the laws of the countries on the route.

Where to find a passenger flying to the right city

On JetJoin travelers publish trips with the route, date and free luggage space. The sender chooses the departure and destination cities and browses suitable offers. If there are no flights yet, you can turn on “Notify me about a new flight”. A search does not mean there will definitely be someone willing to take the parcel on your date.

How to agree on the handover

After choosing a flight, the sender fills in a request: describes the contents, states the weight, adds photos and videos of the item and packaging and offers a reward for this specific handover. The traveler reviews the information, may ask for details and decides independently. The meeting place, how the recipient will get the parcel and other terms must be agreed before confirmation. Never hand over a sealed package that cannot be inspected.

What you can give an air passenger

Whether something can be carried depends on the type of item, the route, airline rules, aviation security and customs requirements. Liquids, batteries, medicines, food and valuables have their own restrictions. Even if an item is usually allowed in luggage, that does not guarantee it can cross a border. Check the current rules for the specific flight before sending; dangerous and prohibited items may not be handed over.

How much it costs to send a parcel with a plane passenger

There is no single price for all routes. The sender offers an amount for a specific parcel, and the traveler assesses it based on weight, volume, route and how convenient the handover is. An indicative price for free luggage space set by the traveler is not a fixed rate for every parcel. A 15% sender fee is added to the agreed amount.

What to consider before the meetup and pickup

Agree in advance who hands over the parcel in the departure city and who collects it after arrival. Check the description and packaging, agree on the time and place and exchange contacts in the app. The traveler should inspect the contents in person and decline if anything raises doubts. At the meetup the recipient gives the confirmation code; once it is entered, the delivery is complete, and only then is the money charged.

How JetJoin differs from regular delivery

JetJoin is a platform that connects senders and travelers, not an airline or a courier service. There is no guaranteed carrier rate: the sender makes a request for an already planned trip, and the traveler decides whether the offer suits them. Every user goes through an identity check, and you can leave a review after delivery. The parties remain responsible for following carriage rules.

Find an air passenger on your route

Enter your departure and destination cities in JetJoin, choose a trip and offer a reward. Every user goes through an identity check, the sender fee is 15%, and the money is charged to your card only after the traveler confirms delivery with a code.
