A large Russian-speaking community in Czechia

Prague, Karlovy Vary and Brno have a sizeable Russian-speaking community: families, students at Czech universities and property owners. From Russia they receive documents for visas and residence permits, certificates, medicines, books and gifts.

JetJoin helps you find someone travelling from Russia to Czechia who is willing to take a small parcel. It is not post or cargo — it is an agreement between two people with a protected payment.

    Route and meeting

Travelers fly to Czechia with transfers and most often land at Prague’s Václav Havel Airport. Karlovy Vary is two hours from Prague, so a recipient there should come to Prague or find a trip straight to Karlovy Vary.

Agree on the meeting place in advance: at the airport, by a metro station or at the traveler’s hotel.

What Czech customs will let through

Czechia applies EU rules: meat and dairy from non-EU countries may not be brought in, plants need documents, and medicines are allowed in personal quantities with a prescription.

EU sanctions rules restrict the import of certain goods of Russian origin. Send documents, books, clothes and inexpensive gifts.

    How to prepare the parcel

Describe the contents and upload photos and videos of the items and packaging to JetJoin. Documents for visa and immigration authorities go in a folder with scans.

Don’t hand over closed boxes or cash.

    Price and payment

You offer a reward, and the traveler agrees or names their own amount. JetJoin’s sender fee is 15%.

All users go through an identity check. The traveler photographs the parcel when taking it and enters the confirmation code when handing it to the recipient in Czechia — only then is the payment charged.
