Who receives parcels in the UK
Russian-speaking families, university students and specialists at financial and tech companies live in London and other British cities. From Russia they receive documents, certificates, medicines, books, gifts and children’s things.
JetJoin helps you find someone travelling from Russia to the UK who is willing to take a small parcel. You agree directly, and the platform protects the payment.
Route and meeting
There are no direct flights between Russia and the UK, so travelers fly via Istanbul, Dubai or other hubs. London has several airports — Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton — so check where the traveler lands.
If the recipient lives in Manchester or Edinburgh, search for a trip there or arrange to meet in London.
UK customs and sanctions
The UK strictly restricts meat, dairy and plants from non-EU countries; gifts, alcohol and tobacco have limits, and medicines are for personal use only.
UK sanctions restrict the import of certain goods of Russian origin. Send documents, books, clothes and inexpensive gifts.
How to prepare the parcel
Describe the contents and upload photos and videos of the items and packaging to JetJoin. Documents for British authorities and universities go in a rigid folder with scans.
Don’t hand over closed boxes or cash.
Price and payment
You offer a reward, and the traveler agrees or names their own amount. JetJoin’s sender fee is 15%.
All users go through an identity check. The traveler photographs the parcel when taking it and enters the confirmation code when handing it to the recipient in the UK — only then is the payment charged.
