What people send from China to Russia

From China to Russia people send personal purchases, gifts, tea, clothes, students’ belongings and documents. Many Russians living in China fly home for holidays and can take a small parcel — JetJoin helps you find them.

An important distinction: travelers carry things for you and your family. Goods for sale and wholesale purchases are sent via cargo or a carrier with customs clearance, not in someone else’s suitcase.

    Flights and meeting in Russia

There are direct flights from Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou to Moscow, and flights to other Russian cities too. Search for a trip to the recipient’s city and check where the traveler will be after landing.

In China, arrange the meeting in advance and close to the traveler’s route. Exchange contacts in a messenger that works in both countries.

Import into Russia: personal or goods

Russia applies EAEU duty-free allowances for personal-use goods. One or two items for yourself or as a gift are fine; several identical new phones, sneakers or bags look like goods.

Keep receipts or order screenshots. Discuss electronics with batteries, power banks and liquids with the traveler in advance.

    How to prepare the parcel

Take purchases out of large boxes to keep the parcel compact, and upload photos and videos of the contents and packaging to JetJoin.

Don’t hand over things you know little about, and don’t ask to understate the value: the traveler is the one who answers at the border.

How much it costs and how to pay

You propose the reward, and the traveler agrees or names their own amount. JetJoin’s sender fee is 15%.

The traveler photographs the parcel when taking it and enters the confirmation code when handing it to the recipient in Russia — only then is the payment charged. All users go through an identity check.
