What people send from the Netherlands

From the Netherlands to Russia people send gifts for family, factory-packed cheese and sweets, books, children’s things, documents and medicines for personal use. Russian speakers in the Netherlands go home for holidays — JetJoin helps you find them.

It is an agreement between two people: the platform does not accept or carry parcels, but protects the payment.

    EU sanctions on exports

The EU bans the export to Russia of luxury goods above a set value threshold and many categories of equipment and electronics. New laptops, phones, designer items and expensive jewellery may be held when leaving the EU.

It is safe to send personal items, documents, books and inexpensive gifts.

    Route and meeting

Travelers go from the Netherlands to Russia with transfers. It is convenient to hand over at Schiphol station or in Amsterdam before departure.

In Russia, the recipient meets the traveler in the arrival city — most often Moscow or Saint Petersburg.

    Preparing the parcel

Upload photos and videos of the contents and packaging to JetJoin and list the items. Cheese should be in vacuum factory packaging — mention it in the description.

Don’t hand over items the traveler doesn’t know about, and don’t ask them to understate the value.

    Price and payment

You propose the reward, and the traveler agrees or names their own amount. JetJoin’s sender fee is 15%.

The traveler photographs the parcel when taking it and enters the confirmation code when handing it to the recipient in Russia — only then is the payment charged.
