What people send from France
From France to Russia people send gifts for family, books, children’s things, documents and apostilled papers, and medicines for personal use. Russians in France go home for holidays and vacations — JetJoin helps you find someone travelling on the dates you need.
It is a private agreement between two people: the platform does not accept or carry parcels, but helps you agree and protects the payment.
EU sanctions and exports to Russia
The EU bans the export to Russia of luxury goods above a set value threshold and many categories of equipment. This covers expensive perfume and large cosmetics sets, designer clothes and accessories, premium wines and new electronics.
Send personal items, documents and inexpensive gifts via a traveler. Anything that could be classed as luxury or goods may not be allowed out.
Route and meeting
Travelers go from France to Russia with transfers. Check the route and arrange a meeting in Paris, Nice or Lyon with time to spare before departure.
In Russia, the recipient meets the traveler in the arrival city — most often Moscow or Saint Petersburg.
Preparing the parcel
Upload photos and videos of the contents and packaging to JetJoin and list the items with their approximate value. Perfume and wine are liquids: cabin baggage is limited to 100 ml, the rest goes only in checked baggage.
Don’t hand over items the traveler doesn’t know about, and don’t ask them to understate the value.
Price and payment
You propose the reward, and the traveler agrees or names their own amount. JetJoin’s sender fee is 15%.
The traveler photographs the parcel when taking it and enters the confirmation code when handing it to the recipient in Russia — only then is the payment charged.
